SRHBA has been advised by SaskEnergy of an upcoming change to the Homes Beyond Code program.
Effective June 15, 2026, homeowners will no longer have the option to assign their homeowner rebate directly to their builder through the Homeowner Rebate Assignment Agreement.
Any assignment agreements signed on or before June 15 must be submitted to SaskEnergy by 5:00 p.m. on June 15, 2026 to be honoured. For properties without a signed agreement submitted by that deadline, Homes Beyond Code rebates will be paid directly to the homeowner.
SaskEnergy has confirmed that the homeowner rebate amounts, efficiency tiers, $800 builder rebate, and overall program structure are not changing.
